iOS iPhone contact list, attempting to change the sorting method from last name to first

Hey guys i was curious as to how i could change the sorting of my contact list ive attempted to change the contact options in outlook but that only sorts new contacts in this order. My existing contacts are still sorted in alphabetical order according to their last name, so was wondering how i would be able to change this.
