Buying from Apple.com (shipping question)

I want to purchase a new macbook pro from apple.com. My question is what shipping carrier do they use (FED EX, UPS). I also want to know if they use signature confirmation. The reason I am asking is I do not get home until late at night and I don't want the delivery man to leave it between my door or out on my steps for some punk kid to steal it.

FedEx and you have to sign for it. You can pre-sign so they will leave it, but I wouldn't recommend that.

(If you don't live in the US, I'm not sure what carrier will be used)

I'd have it delivered to my office if I were you. Nobody delivers after 10PM to residential.

Or goto an Apple store. Apple.com makes you pay local tax anyway, at least they make me pay it. :(
