Final Cut Movie File has lost extension

OK, a Final Cut project file seems to have lost or changed its extension. Does anyone know the original Final Cut project file extension? I need to see if I can salvage a project. I have already recovered a ton of video clips that had become UNIX executable files by changing the extension back to .dv. Thanks.

Sorry, misplaced post, but anyone know about the extension?
