I just purchased a 16GB iPod Touch for my wife at Walmart today. The price was $279.00 (originally, $379.00). I noticed it was the only one left, and I saw another iPod touch 16GB in the typical white iPod packaging for $297.00. I asked what the difference was, as I couldn't tell from the label or the box, but the clerk was clueless. The tag had G2 on it, which I took to mean 2nd Gen. I knew I wanted a 2nd gen, so I decided to go ahead with this one. Now I'm not sure that's what I've got.
The packaging on the one I bought has John Lennon Legend on it. From everything I've read, those were only done with 1st Gen. Can anyone give me an idea what I've got and if I should simply return it for the more obvious, 16GB 2nd one? Thanks.
