Mobileme sync still in toolbar

I closed the trial of my Mobileme account, but that circular two arrow sync button still lingers there in the toolbar. I have no idea how to remove it. Can anyone help with this?

Not in front of a mac, but I believe you go to: settings or preferences/mobileme look for a box on one of the screens that says "show sync icon in tool bar" uncheck it. If it isn't there then run isync application click on preferences and look for the same thing. Goodluck
