i was wondering what are the chances of a higher capacity iPod touch being introduced at macworld 09? i have a 16gb 1g now, but my library has grown since i got it and i now have about 35GB of music. do you think there's a good chance that a 64GB will be introduced at macworld? i know no one but apple knows for sure, but im just wondering what you guys think so i dont go out buying a classic now and in january a 64gb touch pops out

There is next to a zero percent chance. New iPods were just released in September.

I wouldn't think so - the price of flash chips are still high in the larger range.

Maybe, maybe not. Anyone saying otherwise is just speculating.

Agreed. My guess is we'll see a 64GB Touch and a 32GB iPhone September '09.

The original touch's were released in Sept 07 and in late Jan 08 the 32gb model was released so it may happen. It won't be a new model just an memory update. Didn't annouce it at Macworld but just after.
