Switcheasy rebel and colors case doesn't work with headphones

I bought a switcheasy rebel and colors for my 3g my regular headphones fit in the hole that the case has but my car aux jack does not work it's too wide to fit and won't sit flush. Is there any adapters that I can use I really like the case and don't want to give up this case.
