Has anyone had any experience with this monitor (BenQ G2400WD) and the late 2008 aluminium macbook?

I want to check if it works with my macbook before buying it, as I've heard reports of various monitors not working for no specific reason (mainly Samsung however). I would be using the Mini Displayport to DVI adaptor, but the monitor also takes VGA.
