The new Nano doesn't support my old ipod's firewire for uploading or charging, so what do I do with it? Are there adapters so I can still use it or should I just sell it?

Thanks for any advice

Huh? Why do you have to get rid of your old iPod? Why can't you keep using the same cables that you were using before?

You can send it to me, and I'll dispose of it for you. ;)

My old 20gb ipod classic just died so I decided to get a new nano. Unfortunately, the new nano doesn't support my old firewire cable for my previous ipod. I was disappointed to find this out since the connection is apparently the same, but the new nano responds with a message indicating it doesn't support the firewire cable.

Bummer :(
