Basically no. You certainly can't upgrade to an Intel CPU...

You can upgrade it as far as a 1.67Ghz G4 I believe. You'll get more speed out of her by putting in a faster 7200rpm hard drive, and more RAM if you haven't already.

it already has 1gb RAM, and so putting a bigger HD in ill get little more? What kind of HD would i need for the g4 mac? I just want little more GHZ out of it, i need to find a way!!!!!!!1 THanks for the help!

It has to be ATA, and you can't get any more "GHz" out of it.

It may be possible to get an Intel logic board in there...but from my experience, an Intel mini logic board costs almost as much as a brand new Intel mini itself, so it's not really worth it.

But, even though I have a 1.83 Ghz Intel mini, my daily computing is done on my iBook G4 1.33 GHz, and it's definitely sufficient for basic needs.

Max out the RAM, get a faster hard drive, and your mini should be pretty speedy. :)

You should be able to get it up to at least 1.42GHz...

Overclocking the Apple Mac mini (http://www.lbodnar.dsl.pipex.com/macmini/) (PPC)

I remember hearing that you could upgrade it to the 1.67 found in the Powerbooks at the time. Or is it a different chipset.
