Not to watch discs, but I have Video_TS folders, and of course I can't watch them. I've downloaded every codec I can find, but yet nothing. Can anyone please help? Thanks 🙂
You don't need to change anything. I can only think of 2 options:
1. You have an old mac (at least 4 years) that comes with an old version of DVD player which doesn't support DVD media on the harddrive
2. You are making a mistake simmilar to Coogee's, using a different app.
If you still can't open the folder, I woulg give VLC a try. Now that I think more about it, you may be refering to VLC and not DVD player, is this correct?
iDVD is for creating dvds. It doesn't play them. It doesn't edit video. It takes a bunch of clips that you created in iMovie or Final Cut and makes a DVD out of them.
DVD Player .... plays DVDs. And like the guy above said, all modern versions play TS folders too.
when installed and started, click on File -> Open File .. , navigate to the folder that contains the TS files, and click on Open. It can be a little bit confusing.
