Hey guys, this is just something I noticed. It seems that with the new update, Apple has changed the charging habits of the new MacBooks.

Yeah, before the update, charging from 50% would usually take me about 2+ hours...this is a welcome and undocumented change. :D

A lot of times after a major update or system reload it'll do that. It eventually smartens up and settles where it was. 2 hr to 80%, 2 to 100%.

Yeah I noticed that. It stayed at that hour "till done" timer until it was at about 85%...so I guess it was just a false alarm.

I wonder if the Apple LED Display charges the MB Air faster. Doesn't the MB and MBP use a more powerfull AC adapter? if So maybe the Display charges with the Pro's wattage?

Keep an eye on that timer, it should stay at that 1 hour mark until it hits 85% or so...then it will be accurate. Kind of a bummer, but I guess that's just the way it is.
