After Upgdate Blackbook Slower?

I have installed the update but now it seems as though my Macbook (Santa Rosa) is running slower than normal, not only are all the apps taking longer to load, but the internet too is going slower. Anyone else having this problem?

This may be just spotlight reindexing some stuff for searches. After a few minutes my Macbook stopped accessing the drive like crazy and went back to normal.

Same here... the first few minutes were slowish but now everything seems to be fine.. Have you tried just restarting it again?

what they said; indexing. click on the spotlight icon, top right of your screen. does it act normal, or does it say it's busy indexing?

Happened to my iMac after 10.5.6. Startup took additional 40% longer.

I reset SMC (Option+Command+P+R, and waited for 3 gongs), and it fixed everything. Try it if you haven't.
