Hello,
I am currently trying to take my .avi movies and burn them onto an SVCD. the movies all seem to be coded in Divx format, becuase QT is not playing it, but Mplayer and VLC are.

I've taken my movies through ffmpegx, and i use the quick preset of SVCD. I wind up with three different files, one of the mpeg itself, one with only audio, and one with video and audio.

I then go to my Toast 6 and drag the mpeg file into it, select the Video tab and SVCD and burn.

But...when i put it into my DVD player or onto any other computer, i get nothing.

Plz help.

Hi,

I use iMovie and Toast 6 to create SVCDs. No problem with them at all. But I can't really help you unless you better specify what exact hardware and apps you are using.

I am pretty new to Macs, so excuse my ignorance, I've been a PC user for the past 15 years.

But, I have a Mac dual g5, Mac OS x 10.3.
