why does my iphone take so long to sync.

It always does a back up thru i tune which i hate. And before you guys say i got too much. I only got 5 gigs of music 1 gig of video and 500mb of applications and photos. I don't get why the backup is taking almost a half and hour.

Is there anyway to disable the backup or speed it up..

If you do some searching you'll find a lot of information on fixing backup times.

The best advice I have for you:

1. Upgrade to the latest version of iTunes
2. Delete your previoius iPhone backup once

There were lots of fixes in the last few months for this, but some people still had long backups because their existing backup was corrupted.

I'd really recommend searching for some additional suggestions on how to fix this. Good luck!
