It's definitely a Samsung but I highly doubt it's an SLC drive. SLC drives that size are incredibly expensive. Much more likely it's a Samsung MLC.

Hello

From what I have gathered, the Rev. 1 Air has a Samsung SLC SSD.

The Rev. 2 Air has an "off the books" Samsung MLC SSD. I say "off the books" because I cannot find any reference to it on their or other distributor sites.

The model in the new Airs is MMDOE28GXMSP (thanks to NC MacGuy). I was able to find out that this is an MLC drive, but that's it.
