If price isn't a concern then this might feel your needs. I'm getting one for Christmas. It is made by Waterfield out of San Francisco and they are custom made for the Mac. You have options to choose your color, size, material, etc.. They got awesome reviews from a number of magazines, newspapers, and many members on this site who own one.

I have an applesac myself and highly recommend it. If you want unique sleeves you should check out http://barrysfarm.net/. They're a little too unique for my taste but that's just me.

Yeah. I, too, am thinking about picking up a nice sleeve so I can feel better about packing the ol' MacBook up in my bags and what not.

Just got the Toffee with the handles and like it very much! Fits the alum MB extremely well and is well-made. It is expensive!

I've been looking for (or at lease thinking about) a nice simple little leather slip for my phone.

Another vote for foofshop.com! I've got two of them (one for my work MBP, one for my personal MB), and love 'em. They're great for protecting my laptop in whatever bag I happen to be using that day.
