And I love it!
Really debated about getting the PB, but I am well-pleased with the iB. And the $$ I saved went right into my fund for a dual 3 GHz G5 desktop -- or 2 GHz G5 iMac -- when it's available later this year.
Or will the new G5s be available tomorrow? ;)

20" iMac and love it. 1.25 ghz, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HD, and damn that screen is sharp. 10.2.3 and iLife '04 are on the restore disc. Starts up in like 5 seconds!
The screen was a little crooked when it arrived and AppleCare was useless. Finally I just put it face down, grabbed the neck where it inserts into the screen, and turned. That fixed it, no problem. I've been loving it ever since.

I live on my 15" AlBook. I use my dual 1gig PowerMac G4 almost exclusively when I'm at home (FCP, Photoshop, etc.) because it's more powerful, but I'm on my PowerBook all day at work and when I'm travelling.
I love it.

cube at the house for the parents, but since I'm at college, I need my own machine. Hello 17" 1 GHZ iMac . . .that freezes. :(
Oh well, still better than windows and faster than the cube.

I dig my PowerBook G4 Titanium. I'm used to running multiple machines at the same time, most recently a PC desktop and my PowerBook, but I haven't turned the PC on since November.

450 MHz PowerPC @ the office.
1.25 GHz 17" iMac @ home, along with my "old" G3 Snow iMac (which I still love!) I've also got an LC, Quadra 605 and Performa I don't have the heart to get rid of..... they all still work perfectly and are part of my family! They're my babies! :D

iMac 800 17", cos I'm a romatic at heart
And I wouldn't trade for anything else.
Except for an identical one with a G5, then I'd soon dump this heap of junk

I had no idea so many people used PBooks.
What would a more reliable source for PBook's market share amongst Mac users say?
Oh, and I have a 12" G3 iBook. You just gotta love that thing. :D

That's right I am still using the original Bondi Blue 233 mhz G3. I've upgraded the memory to 384 MB and switched out the 4 GB drive with a 7200 rpm 40 GB drive. If Steve and company will get the lead out I will have this replaced with a new dual G5 PMac and if not then dual G5 2Ghz here I come!

It's incredible how the Power:I ratio is almost identical for both notebooks and desktops. Apple is doing something right.

i'd call my mdd 867 my primary, it was the most expensive one (pre-rebates). I use my pb12revA 3x more on any given week, though. i'm torn, but i put down the mdd anyway.

My primary machine is a 1.25 GHz 17" iMac that I bought recently. Its eventual replacement (which I'm not planning on getting until 2007) will be a PowerMac. I've always been a leapfrogger when it comes to processor generations. I went from a 68k Mac (Apple IIgs) to a PowerMac 'G1' (PowerMac 7200/75) to a Powerbook G4 (PB 667 MHz 512 MB RAM Airport card) to the 17" iMac G4 I have now. I won't buy this PowerMac in 2007 if the PowerPC G6 hasn't arrived yet (I'll DEFINITELY buy if we've reached the PowerPC G7 by then).

I wanted a PowerBook, but decided on a used iBook G4 that was for sale on this forum.
Still have my G3 PowerBook Pismo so I can print on my ancient printer and do things with my scanner that OS X.3 won't do.

Recently upgraded to 933MHz G4 iBook. I have yet to increase my RAM from the stock 256 though, and it's still WAY faster than my 600MHz G3 iBook was!

Dual G4 1.25 with a Gig of Ram / Superdrive and extra 120 Gig HD.
And even though the G5 came out shortly after I bought, I still love my mac and don't regret the purchase for a second.
I would not make a different decision based on the money I had. (ie I would not have chosen a G5 1.6 over this machine.
If I had more $$$, I would go the dual 1.8 (video editing).... or the dual 2.0.

800 MHz G4 iBook with 60GB hard drive, AE, Bluetooth, and 640 MB of RAM (upgraded from the original dual USB iBook with only 500 MHz G3 and 10 GB hard drive)
My wife uses a 1 GHz G4 12" Powerbook with 768 MB of RAM, AE, 40 GB hard drive, and a superdrive
My main server is a 500 MHz G3 iMac. Services include wireless print server, web server, SQL server, FTP server, file server, and telephone answering machine. My four year old also uses it for school and games :)
Just finished paying them all off too... WHOOO!!!

How could you use a xServe as your main machine? Its a server not a desktop or a laptop. http://forums.macrumors.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

Powerbook G3 400 (Pismo), baby! Done me great service for close to 4 years. Once I put OS X on it, it has only crashed maybe 2 or 3 times -- and has not been completely shut down in about 2.5 years (always in sleep mode). I think the first couple crashes had to do with bad stuff going on in classic involving MIDI interfaces and opening too many apps at the same time. Last one was because some RAM failed - i.e. hardware. None of my Winblows friends can boast anything close to that kind of reliability! :D
I'm STILL waiting for a new PowerMac G5 to be announced (and hopefully shipped not long after, this time) -- playing the "waiting game" since I've waited this long I figured (about 6 weeks ago) that another 2 or 3 weeks would be worth it....

iBook 12" 800 MHz G4 with 640 RAM. It can't be beat for the money. Unfortunately, my fiance ends up spending most of the time on it.
I plan on buying a 20" iMac as soon as the G5 gets put in it. Waiting patiently.

But I have a G4 Cube at home, soon to be an (unsupported) dual 500 mod and a Radeon 7000 64MB video card.
My iBook 600 (16 VRAM) is my "work" machine that I lug from home to work and back.
(Only use my PC at work for UT2k4)

HOME/HOME OFFICE - I have a Powerbook 12' 1ghz, 768ram, 40gb. hooked to an 18" LCD for dual display mode.
WORK (40hr wk job) - Beige G3 266 desktop, which i've used since it was new. I work at a newspaper, so my department doesn't get upgrades very ofton. Our newest macs (in this dept.) are B&W G3 400's.

My main machine would be my MDD 1Ghz PowerMac. I also use a 17" PowerBook next to it, as well as an Xserve for file serving. Actually, the MMD PowerMac, an old B&W G3 & the Xserve all work together serving files, doing mail, etc. I use an 800Mhz iBook (12") on the road, and my old 15" TiBook for movies, and what not.
I also use a MessagePad 2100 on the road .. does that count? :)
