Installer update and why hasnt anyone talked about this

so i just happen to accidentally click on installer and there is an update for it .. so what does this mean? is installer going to make a come back?
 
The reason nobody has talked about it, is because nobody uses it anymore, as it hardly has any apps on it.
 
Well I unpoofed it and it refreshed 6 sources, but no update.

It still does not work so I poofed it again.

Need an update that makes it work.
 
yeah i never used it that much .. but i will if it gets better. and i dunno what i did .like i said i just clicked on it and it showed installer had an update
