Alu MacBook says always connected to power source

Hello,

After the latest updates my MacBook shows "connected to power source" in the battery drop down even when not plugged in.

Any suggestions on what to do? I did the SMC reset already.

Have you tried taking the battery out and let it sit for a little while?

Another thing you could try is run the battery ALL THE WAY dead. Let it go till it sleeps and then let it sit til the battery really dies.
Other than that i really dont know... sorry
