iPod touch Remote App from Ipod touch turns on computer?

Hello I recently downloaded the Remote App to my Ipod Touch, well one night I was playing with it and I accidentally hit the Remote App. Miraculously my PC turned on a couple feet away.

I tested it again today and it worked once, but now I cannot get it to work.

Any idea why this is happening and how I can get it to turn on my computer again?

it was completely off. I was planning on going to sleep so I shut it down 30 mins prior to sleeping. But then I touched the remote app and it turned on.
Not gonna like it scared me cause I had no idea what was going on.
