You went to the trouble of figuring out the Intel product number? Generally, we don't know those. The GHz followed by the codename–Penryn, Merom, or even just Core (2)–is how we identify machines.
I only say this because I have no clue when your machine was made by looking at the Intel number. :D

P 7350 = Penryn 2.0ghz
And dont say thats how "we" identify machines

presumeably not too well.
I have a MBP 2.8 ghz and on the 9400m it jsut about runs acceptably and afaik the macbooks have intel gma's which will struggle a lot more than the 9400m

The newer MacBooks are also equipped with the 9400m.
To the OP: processor speed is mostly irrelevant here. You'll be fine with the IGP you have.

oh is this the newer macbook soz but those number confused me a bit
if it has the 9400m it will run but for me the frame rate is not acceptable at anything higher than 1000 x 720 (cannot remmeber the exact res)
