I was checking the status of Back to my mac and notice that I got an error which says that I need a compatible router that handles NAT-PMP (NAT port mapping protocol) or UPnP (Universal Plug & Play)... I just dont get it... my router is an Apple Airport G then what the !%"$·$???

Anyone can help me?

Where are you trying to check it from? From outside your home? If so, the router you're connecting to the Internet from may not be UPnP even though the one at your home is.

When Back to my Mac was originally explained, it sounded like this was the exact problem BtmM was intended to solve - using the clients communicating with the cloud in order to AVOID having to open up ports on the clients. It's really hard to get ports open when you are behind enterprise firewalls

I ended gave up on BTTM because of all the headaches trying to get all of the nonsense correct (Such as having a double-NAT, then putting it in Bridge Mode as apple suggests, only to get a new warning that my router now doesn't support UPnP). It was advertised as simply installing Leopard for it to work...not even close to the reality.

I emailed the MobileMe team about all of the issues, and received about 4 or 5 emails back from them pointing me to various articles on the Apple website which I had explained to them 4 or 5 times did nothing for me. Good luck and let us know if you get it working.
