"appear" is inaccurate, in many things she only has a speaking role as the computer but yes, she's in every star trek production in one way or other.

I loved Star Trek, the original TV series and the various successors, virtually all of them, so I am truly sorry to learn of the death of this impressive actress who effortlessly bridged the entire Trek universe.
