I started importing songs into my itunes library, then it canceled accidentially. I imported it again, but now theres doubles of all the songs. Is there a way to just clear the library and start over?

thanks

My iTunes is doing a similar thing. I'll go to click on a song and there'll be two of the same song. Its really random!

I think that you may have imported your songs twice, this is why you are seeing two of the same songs for all of them. If you have a folder with songs that you want imported, you choose File-- Import. If you want to copy songs from another folder to your existing library then you have to File -- Add To Library. This will copy songs to you library, but not add them to the Itunes music folder.

Think that is how it works(?).

I had a friend who had this problem and he found it was due to him importing an mp3 album in a folder with a .m3u playlist in it. This caused the mp3's to be imported twice.

This might help you maybe.
