Hello everyone,
I have recently tried to install Windows XP on my Aluminum MacBook Pro with an older Windows XP install disk to no avail. A friend told me I should download a newer version from a torrent, so I did. I downloaded Windows XP SP2, but I don't know what to do now. If someone could help me take the folder and the windowsxpsp2.rar file and put it on to a disk to install, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your time.

I don't recommend using the downloaded torrent under any circumstances.

You can easily use your existing Windows install disc and slipstream it with SP2, and this will give you the updated version of Windows you need to install on Bootcamp or a virtual machine.
