How do I figure out my own number?

I put a random old sim card into my phone and have no idea what the number is. I can't phone anyone coz i dont have any talk time and i cant top up until i know its a working sim card. It showed up on itunes once but it doesnt anymore and i cant get it to show up again.

If it's an iPhone, you can see the number at the very top of the contacts list.

On your iPhone goto 'Settings' and choose the 'Phone' option. At the top you ought to see : My Number: xxxxxxxxx
