Hey, can any other Mac Pro owners out there check their system.log to see if you have the following entry at the end of all the boot messages:

com.apple.PCIESlotCheck[100]: [PCIESlotCheck] Error reading PCIE lane config. Unable to check PCIE slots for changes.

Just curious. I'm not having any issues, I just noticed that after installing the 10.5.6 Combo update, I get this message listed in the console near the end of the boot sequence.

Just me poking around in Console, curious as if any other Mac Pro owners have this entry.

My Mac Pro is stock 2.66 MacPro1,1 with the NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT.

Thanks.

-Kevin

I have the same hardware, and the same error in Console. Not sure why, but it's there. I ran across it while trying to troubleshoot why it takes HOURS for my USB hard drive to get recognized and mount. Very annoying ;)
