Check out these sites:

Human Rights Campaign (http://www.hrcactioncenter.org/actioncenter/home.html)

and

ACLU (http://www.aclu.org/LesbianGayRights/LesbianGayRights.cfm?ID=9977&c=101)

They are very mainstream and a good place to start. If I find others I'll post them.

I signed a petition. Not sure if it is any good, though.

It was the MillionforMarriage.org petition that I signed.

i signed the petition and forwarded it. i feel a little better. but a big positive is that tonight i got an action email from someone at hrc who is trying to make the opposition's presence bigger. they do seem to have some programs up and running, and i am totally throwing my support their way.

i hope everyone who sees the amendment as an act of discrimination finds a way to make themselves heard.
