Hello guys, I have the newest macbook pro got it in september, and I got a nice new HDTV, and was wondering what I would need to do to show my macbook pro screen on my TV

Thanks in advance!
🙂

Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter, DVI to HDMI adapter or cable. You can't get audio.

If you got it in September, you didn't get the newest one. DVI to HDMI adapter or cable only.

If your television has a DVI port, you can use a DVI cable right from the MBP to it. If not, just use a cable with the right connector on both ends (e.g. MBP/DVI and TV/HDMI).

You would have to have a separate cable directly from the audio output port to the TV. You may also be able to find a converter which will take a DVI input and an audio input and output an HDMI signal.
