Is bootcamp the best way?

I have windows installed on my mac through bootcamp however i was considering to get rid of it, as i don't actualy use it for anything but the occasional game once every couple days, so i was wondering if theres any other ways? i looked into a program called Darwine which opens .exe files but on the site it says it doesn't work well with a lot of the games i would download...

Is there any other way that is good for playing games apart from Darwine and bootcamp?

For games running Windows in its native mode on a Boot Camp partition is the best way. If you don't play games at all, Fusion or Parallels would be a better choice. Emulators like WINE do not work well and are in my opinion a waste of money.

I have bootcamp all set up and everything its just a real pain sometimes to reboot up in windows! sometimes to only play a game for 10 minutes !

But im guessing parallels or something like that isn't fast enough for games?

It depends on the game. What do you play? If it's only 10 minutes at a time, I'm guessing you're a casual gamer.

As long as it's not graphics heavy, you would be fine in a VM. I've successfully played Civ II and Medal of Honor: Allied Assault in Parallels. I haven't tried any other of my old Windows games since I no longer have time.

You can run Parallels for a trial period and use the Bootcamp partition so you have both.

Windows at Native Speeds = BootCamp (Games like Far Cry play very well)
Windows for basic use = Parallels 3.0 (Nothing graphics intensive)
