I am hesitant, since i am having no issues currently, but tomorrow i will prob test it out. I will post my results here.

These were mentioned here before in another thread. As far as I can tell, they appear to be betas. Any idea when release drivers will be available?

Also, are these for Mac OS X or for Windows (boot camp)? :confused:

Yes, they are betas and are for Windows

I installed them on my 2.4 Unibody MBP, and they seem to be pretty similar to any other drivers I've tried... At least, they didn't fix the problem I have when waking the computer from sleep - after a few moments the top half of the screen will go gray, and the bottom half will flash between gray and white.

That is extremely unusual behaviour and it should not happen. Even without drivers installed, the display on my MBP will not do that.

I have also tried the beta drivers, it's not worth it. If you don't experience any issues at the moment, don't both with the upgrade. It is good however that they are on a website to download now as we don't have to wait for Apple to update them. Next we need tap-to-click enabled and other features on the touchpad.

You may need to get your Mac checked out at an Apple Service Centre. That is extremely unusual behaviour and it should not happen. Even without drivers installed, the display on my MBP will not do that.

I think it's just an issue on the Windows side, not hardware (I'm hoping, at least), since I don't have any sort of issues in OS X (9400 or 9600) and it only happens after putting Windows to sleep and waking it up again.

If it's going to fail though, I just hope it happens before Applecare expires (nearest Apple store is over 40 min. from where I live and I can't drive).

Next we need tap-to-click enabled and other features on the touchpad.

Multitouch gestures beyond 2 finger click/scroll would be nice, yes :)
Although then there's the issue with there being no Windows software to take advantage of them...
