View Full Version : Finally-Shuffle Albums Option for iPod Touch

I am sure many of you are aware of this package, but I just discovered it last night. It is called "Supreme Preferences". I found it by accident on Cydia.

Among other things, it gives the option to shuffle ALBUMS on the touch/iPhone, instead of just songs. I have been waiting for this since I went to 2.XX (I had it on 1.1.4).

I really do not understand why Apple has left this off of the touch based iPods but thank you to the authors of Supreme Preferences-whoever you are. :D

While the option to shuffle albums is there, I can't seem to get it to work. The iPod always reverts back to songs.

Anyone been able to get this to work?

Okay, I can't be the ONLY person using this?!? Has anyone successfully got their ipod touch to shuffle albums?

Can't understand why Apple eliminated this :mad:

try using extended preferences instead? it's the same as supreme preferences but by a more well known iPod scene guy may work for you

Have you been able to get shuffle albums to work with extended preferences?

I have installed the extended preferences and chosen to shuffle albums under the tweaks category and it still doesn't work. ARGGG :mad:

Has ANYONE gotten this to work? If so can you PLEASE provide detailed instructions? I guess I am not smart enough for this...

Just want to say I too would like this feature and can't get it to work. There is something more to it than just setting the preference, but what?

Has anyone, anyone, got it to shuffle songs in album order?

TOTALLY AWESOME APP-Thank you! I really can't believe this hasn't been done before, but I am very greatful. And would have been happy to pay for it-so the fact that it is free is just icing on the cake.

This app is just about perfect, but it would be great if at the end of a song it would shuffle through all selected albums to find the next song. At the moment it plays an entire album before moving onto the next one.

Umm, I believe that's the point. Shuffle songs does what you want to do and is built in to iphone/iPod. :confused:
