Is there a way to do the equivalent of "alt-tab" of a Windows OS while running a game? Neither expose or spaces seem to work while WoW is running, and I need to constantly come back to webpages to check information I need. Is there a way?

for WOW your best bet is to run it in windowed mode then you can tab to other programs command+M should toggle between windowed and full screen.
