MBP with less RAM

Is there a way to buy a new MBP from Apple with minimum RAM? I was thinking this could be a way I could save some money and then buy 3rd party RAM to get to 4GB. Only problem is I don't see a way to do it with their online configuration.
 
Nope, just the stock config of 2GB, but OWC does offer a discount if you trade in your old ram.
 
Assuming you're getting a unibody late 08, you can have them up the ram to 4 gigs for $150. For DDR3, that's almost as good as you can find it online, and you won't have to worry about compatiblity, bad sticks, etc.
