With a discrete video card built into the new MBPs will this make it possible to upgrade the GPU in a few years...unlike the older MBPs which only had an integrated chipset?

I'm not a computer whiz, so I don't really know what I'm asking - I just think it would be nice if I could upgrade my GPU in my laptop in the future, considering that is all my Powebook G4 really needs right now.

It's a laptop. You can't upgrade the GPU; it's right on the motherboard.

They've always been "integrated". It's soldered to the motherboard.
