Well this is my first laptop and I want to make the battery last for as long as possible so I was wondering if I should continue using AC power after the battery reaches 100% or should I unplug it?

Dont think it matters with the lithium-ion battery. But, if you prefer, you could always unplug the battery and run solely off AC.

As long as you don't mind the processor being crippled, sure, you can. But you need to leave the battery in if you want to run the machine at full power.
