Using MobileMe, can I transfer the storage of my iPhone that is located on iTunes from my PC (Vista) to my new MacBook? The person at the Apple Retail store said I could, but how?

using mobileme, you can transfer files into your online storage (idisk) and then download it using your macbook. in reality, it would be a lot quicker to use an external hard drive.
