So I'm running XP in boot camp to play CS:S and to download music with Ruckus. That's all I use it for, that's all that's on the partition. Whenever I run XP my MacBook Pro (Mid 2006, Core Duo) gets really hot- I mean really hot. Probably 170+. However, it doesn't freeze and I have to force shutdown like in OS X. Today something weird started happening. XP freezes for a few seconds, the screen shuts off, then a bunch of stuck pixels appear all over the screen, and then the display comes back. Now it appears that my icons disappear between these blackouts but the text under them still appears. Only the left side of my MBP is really hot. Is this due to heat or something else? Does anyone else have this problem?
