The whole point of the trial is to enable you to make that judgement.

You can buy it on eBay for $40 or so. All you need is the activation code inside the box. Many sellers just email you the code, and you are good to go.

I did the same thing for my .me account, by buying the .me code with a Mac.

Its best strength is its integration with OS X (10.5 especially). Log onto my userid, the iDrive automatically syncs, and its ready to go.

My opinion: For central E-mail, if you are using a Mac for everything, I say go for it.
