Last night, I had a large list of bookmarks in Mozilla (1.4). This morning, I updated my system with the new security system update, and iSight software. Tonight, I have no bookmarks. Between the time I updated my system, I was at work, and not at this computer (which was off). Have I lost my bookmarks for good?
OS 10.3
Mozilla 1.4

Mozilla 1.4 What in God's name are you talking about? You lose bookmarks by deleting your bookmarks file. Your bookmarks file should be /users/YourAccount/Library/Mozilla/Profiles/deafult/xxxxxxxx.slt/bookmarks.html. Here's a tip. The Finder has the meu selection that will help you enormously in these situations. With the Finder as your frontmost application, go to File>Find.... It really works wonders.
And another thing, upgrade to Mozilla 1.7a. You can afford it.

Swear to God, I never touched that file. I did use the find feature, and it is nowhere to be found. I do have a back-up on an external disk somewhere, but it's 5-6 months old. I think I've totally lost my bookmarks.:(
