If you lime puzzle games then:
trism, zoneout, geomex, and mouse about
If you like scrolling games then TBD is for you
And if you like flying simulators then look at airfight or flying aces.
I think that the best apps are fastlane, trism, and flying aces out of those.

is brothers in arms really worth it? i love call of duty games but it seems like it would be slow-paced

I was having the same issue. Got $25 for winter holiday season and didn't know whether I wanted to buy one of the major dictionaries for all $25, or some smaller stuff...I decided to get BeejiveIM and Centipede (Oh, the irony). Chronicles of Inotia, Asphalt 4, Beatmaker (if you do music) and Sim City are some other recommendations from me.

Depends if your into those kind of games, It took quite a bit to get used to controlling it with the touch screen. Its not the type of game you can play for 2 mins while your waiting for someone or something like that.

yeah, its got pretty decent gameplay. Waves of planes come at you, the first couple of waves theres just one and they dont attack you, but then more come and they start attacking. It is more arcade like though

An app I love and that is commonly recommended in MR is AppSniper. It is only 99c. It automatically alerts you to apps that go on sale or that are newly released. I have saved a lot of money using it. A similar Mac app is AppShopper, which is free.

I like Hero Of Sparta. I don't think Crystal Defenders is all that worth it unless you're a Square-Enix completist.
I Love Katamari and Rolando are interesting. I might get Katamari.
