Hello, and Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays to all. This monring, Santa left me a Western Digital My Passport Elite 320GB PHD. I have a Powerbook G4, running on OSX 10.4.11 According to the Western Digital Box, everything should be fine. However, when I plugged in the Passport, it did not show up on my Powerbook, and did not show up under Disk Utility. The Passport was running, yet it would make a click sound every ten or so seconds, and a light on the Passport would flash when it clicked. Any help would be super awesome.

I think the older notebooks can't output enough power through the USB ports. Therefore, the external HDD will spin and click but won't mount.
