iPod touch iClean on iPod Touch screen?

Is it safe to use iClean that is made for monitors on iPod Touch screens? And I have hundreds of a little dust particles and tiny white dots stuck in the side because I didn't use a case for a month. Will that mess the iPod up?

I used it on mine just the other day. No problems except for a clean screen.

Thanks i thought the chemicals would mess the screen up.
