Apple are upgrading me to a powerbook (long story) but bascially, they've just sent my an Airport Extreme module, and the PB will arrive in a couple of weeks. It's my first PB, and was wondering how delecate I have to be when installing the new Airport card.
Sounds silly, but I'd hate to get my new PB and break it!! I'm not normally clumsy, but... well, curious!!

I wouldn't worry about it. They ain't made of crystal or anything... you could probably throw it across an open field like a frisbee and it'd still work. I of course have not tried this nor would I recommend it... but they're durable.

-discharge static electricity before handling.
-shut down your PB before installing.
-make sure the card is seated well and the cable is securely connected. (mine looked connected at first but wasn't firmly connected - and i had about 3 feet of wireless range. there are also reports of kernel panics when the card is not seated well.)
the card itself is fairly robust, but it's still a delicate electronics part...
