23" cinema display (discontinued)

Since the 23" cinema display has been discontinued... is there any word on whether or not the 24" cinema display might have eventually have an adaptor that would fit the DVI connection on the MAC Pro?

Or is it better to find a refurbished or used 23"...

Or does any one have any recommendations on a similar monitor which has the closest specs to the 23" cinema display as an alternative... in other words, what would you buy if you couldn't get the 23" HD display... and don't want to buy the 30" display?

I doubt if Apple will make a DVI-Mini DisplayPort adapter. You'll have to upgrade your computer or get an old display.
 
Probably not from Apple, but the port is open to use by other companies so you might see one later.


Also, it's Mac (Macintosh), not MAC (media access control). 🙂
