Buy new MacBook Pro now?

I'm already the proud onwer of a Unibody MBP, but a friend of mine now also would like one (duh... ;))

Since there will be an event with new announcements next month do you guys think that there will be an update to the 15" MBP line already?

New MBP's wont be for a while. I'm betting not a updated model til late spring or early summer.

lol nice but the notebooks will most likely not be updated at Macworld, the next upgrade might be April or maybe June.

Thanks for the answers! I looked around the forums btw, but I couldn't find anything related to the new MBP. Sorry if I posted something double! We'll go to a local Apple retailer here this afternoon to pick one up! :)
