Does anyone know of a reasonably-priced (under $100) music composition application. All it really needs to do is allow me to enter notes in traditional staff notation and play them back.

Not sure about a program that allows notation insertion - I've used Amadeus to do simple multi-track recordings - cheap program. I'd head on over to:

They have a ton of audio apps there - great resource.
