Importing mail from Outlook express?

I'm now using 10.3 mail. My problem is I cant seem to import the mail I was using on my old computer (Outlook Express from 9.2) I firewired all my files to my new G5- and tried import yet once it imports in the Outlook the mailbox is empty. Does anyone know a way to import in old outlook express mail to the new panther email program?

Copy the whole outlook express folder to the new mac.
Take the identities folder out and put it on your desktop
Run Outlook.Then quit it.
Go to Documents, In the Microsoft user data folder replace the identities there with the identities folder on your desktop.

Run Outlook again to make sure you can see you mailboxes.
Then run mail and then import the mailboxes from outlook.
