Santa just gave me a Apple Cinema Display 20", should i trade?

Hi.

Santa just gave me the cinema display 20", since the new lcd display is coming (im in Portugal, so it didnt reach our stores yet..) should i trade?

I daily work with webdesign (photoshop, illustrator, flash, etc..)... and im wondering, since the cinema display costs about 500 dollars and he new led lcd 24" costs around 800 dollars... what you guys advice?

do you have a recent apple laptop? the LED displays only work with those.

nope, just last year macbook pro, but i think they will make it compatible with the new screen.. wont u think?

Probably not, or they would have done so already. There may be 3rd party manufacturers preparing converters but I highly doubt it.

Trade up for a 23" ACD.

Don't bother waiting for an adaptor that may never come.

If you really want that new LED ACD then you'll have to wait for an adaptor or a new display that will work with the rest of the professional world.
